Legal

Legal notices & terms.

Disclaimers, representations, geographic restrictions, and the risks you accept by using the Convexity app. Read this before depositing.

Not an offer

Nothing on this website — including vault listings, strategy descriptions, backtests, analytics, documentation, or any other content — constitutes an offer, solicitation, or recommendation to buy or sell any security, derivative, or other financial instrument, in any jurisdiction. Convexity provides a software interface to open-source, on-chain smart contracts; it does not provide investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice.

Backtested and simulated results shown on demo deployments are illustrative previews, not records of actual trading. Past performance — real or simulated — is not indicative of future results.

No promise of returns

No return, yield, APY, or preservation of capital is promised, guaranteed, or implied. Figures displayed in the app (APY, Sharpe, TVL, historical NAV) are informational estimates derived from on-chain state or, on demo deployments, from preview data. Depositing into a vault can result in the partial or total loss of the amount deposited.

Sophisticated-investor representation

By accessing or using the Convexity app, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are a sophisticated investor with sufficient knowledge and experience in financial matters — including digital assets, derivatives, and smart contracts — to evaluate the merits and risks of using the protocol;
  • You are acting for your own account and at your own risk;
  • You can bear the economic risk of a complete loss of any amount you deposit; and
  • You have conducted your own due diligence and are not relying on Convexity for investment advice.

Geographic restrictions

The Convexity app is not offered to, and may not be used by, persons located in, resident in, or organized under the laws of restricted jurisdictions — including, without limitation, the United States and the United Kingdom — or any jurisdiction where use would be unlawful. Access from restricted regions may be blocked, and you agree not to circumvent such restrictions (including via VPN or proxy).

By using the app you represent that you are not located in, and are not accessing the app from, a restricted jurisdiction.

Risk disclosure

Smart-contract risk

Vaults are open-source smart contracts. A bug or exploit in the vault contracts, the protocols they integrate with, or the underlying chain could result in the partial or total loss of deposited funds. Audit work reduces but does not eliminate this risk.

Operator risk

Operators cannot withdraw depositor funds, but they control trading decisions within a vault's limits and can take positions that lose money. Operator error, negligence, or misconduct can materially impair a vault's value.

Venue risk

Strategies execute on third-party venues — Hyperliquid's orderbook and bridge, centralized exchanges, and on-chain protocols. An outage, insolvency, exploit, or withdrawal freeze at any venue a strategy uses can delay settlement or cause losses that the vault contract cannot prevent.

Other risks

Digital-asset prices are volatile; funding rates can invert; liquidity can evaporate; regulation can change. Redemptions are asynchronous and subject to each vault's published settlement window. Do not deposit funds you cannot afford to lose.
